News | First Lady Of Imo State Endorses ANA’s A-Book-A-Child Project | The Arts-Muse Fair
The first lady of
Imo state, Ugo Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha has been named the key facilitator
and brand driver of the Association of Nigerian Authors’ (ANA) book project,
the A-Book-A-Child programme.
The National
President of ANA, Denja Abdullahi, announced this after leading a courtesy
visit to the wife of the Imo state governor yesterday at the Government Lodge,
Iwerri.
The nationwide project
is ANA’s book reading campaign to improve reading culture in children and
increase their access to books.
The project is due
for a formal inauguration at the forthcoming 36th International
Convention of ANA holding in Makurdi end of this month.
