Call For Participation | 2018 Global ZEISS Photography Award | ZEISS & WPO

Applications for participation are invited from ambitious Photographers cross the world to present their works for 2018 ZEISS photography awards. The theme of the award is “Seeing Beyond – Untold Stories”

The focus of the theme "Seeing Beyond - Untold Stories" requires photographers to present a strong series of 5 to 10 images that look beyond the ordinary and every day.

Participants are required to look and understand the theme: “Untold Stories” from broadest perspectives. This could mean the work that explores a familiar theme told from a different perspective or it could address an issue that has previously had little attention.

All forms of photography are welcome and judges are specifically looking for series of works that have a strong narrative. The "Untold Story" that the photographer presents must be visually clear in the submitted images.

This competition provides an opportunity for professional photographers and ambitious amateurs to showcase their talent to a distinguished jury and international audience.

Each year, the ZEISS Photography Award "Seeing Beyond" will have a different theme which photographers are free to interpret.

The ZEISS Photography Award, launched in 2016 is jointly organized by ZEISS and the World Photography Organization. Last edition witnessed about 4,700 participating photographers from 132 countries who submitted more than 31,000 photos.
