Poet-Today | Another Sodom | Adema Damilola

The eyes of the poet are a restless pair. They peer at the veneer of the society to see things hidden. Our Poet-Today reports what his eyes see.

ANOTHER SODOM

Juveniles and the grays in frequent brawl

Whores flaunt immodest bras

Many in search of snappy wealth

Ladies loaded with woolly wool

Mothers mourn under disguised sons

Girls strut in pan-ti-hose

Officers smile at penny greased palms

Teens revel in liquor taste

Ashtray smells of bushy leaves

Many rebranded in crafted inks

Lots admire the sugar name

Everyone in an orgy of self craze

Warnings lay in waste

Sanity in bandage

Another Sodom is here.
