Story Story Media Ltd, the organizer of “Abuja International Photo Exhibition” calls for entries from photographers for the September 2017 edition of the festival.  Abuja International Photo Exhibition is the single largest gathering of photographers in Africa for the purpose of photography for social change.
This year’s exhibition is titled: “A thousand words: The unheard voices of everyday people.”

Focus of Exhibition:
Interested photographers should note that their works must communicate the following issues:
1.      Need for quality education
2.      Effects of poverty
3.      Girl Child Education
4.      Climate Change
5.      The need for availability of clean water and sanitation.
Similarly, there is an opportunity for works on Landscape photography, street photography and portraits.

Exhibition requirements:
1.      All images must be titled.
2.      Size of images should be 12x18, 16x22 or 20x30 respectively
3.      Each participant is expected to exhibit a maximum of six (6) works
Date: Exhibition opens from 12th to 16th September, 2017
Venue: Thought Pyramid Art Gallery, Libreville Street, Aminu Kano, Wuse 2, Abuja.
Time: 9:00 am – 6:00pm (West African Time)

Note: All Works to be exhibited should be ready on or before 7 days to the event. Any Work not completed by September 5, 2017 will not be exhibited. Interested photographers should note that there are limited spaces available for exhibitors. Therefore, first come, first server!

Fees: participation in the exhibition is affordable and flexible. Participants will only pay 50% from the sales of their works at the end of the exhibitions.

Additional Information: Participants are required to send their selected images to organizers for certification. If approved, they will be provided with the exhibition terms of reference document.
