The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Cairo in collaboration with the Prince Claus Fund announces the launch of a Poster Design Competition.

“Wasla”

In the framework of celebrating the 2016 Prince Clause award to Bahia Shehab, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Cairo and the Prince Claus Fund invite Egyptian designers to participate in “Wasla” (link) competition for poster design.

In an increasingly connected world, people still find themselves in isolation and separation with themselves and with others.

Egyptian designers are invited to submit designs for posters reflecting their ideas for building bridges and connections, as well as the concept of communication in its broadest sense.

Requirements
- Theme: communicating
- The Poster:
Size: A3
File Format: JPEG or PDF
Resolution: 300 dpi
- A paragraph of maximum 300 words (in Arabic or in English) describing the concept behind the submitted design.
- Each designer can submit a maximum of 2 designs.

Deadline for submission 30 August 2017 at 4:00 pm ( Cairo Time)

The best 15 designs will be announced during the last week of September 2017. The designers of these posters will be invited to a celebration taking place on Wednesday, October 4th, 2017.
The top three designs will be announced and awarded during the celebration.
Awards:
 🥇1st prize- €500;
 🥈2nd prize- €300;
 🥉3rd prize- €200
