Call For Registration | August 19 Is World Photo Day And A Collaboration of CORA, Arterial Network Nigeria And Copyright X Are Planning Big To Mark This Day In Nigeria.

The World Photo Day is commemorated all over the world to draw attention to the importance of photography as a creative art form.
A joint celebration of the day in Nigeria is being planned by the trio of Committee  for Relevant Art (CORA), Arterial Network and Copyright X to provide a platform for professional photographers, amateurs, creative entrepreneurs using images to drive content or photo enthusiasts to achieve more from creativity through exposure to the legal issues relating to photography. Participants would be trained on practical steps to take to protect ownership of created images using digital watermarks and other safety measures that practitioners in Nigeria are yet to come to grasp with.

Organizers hope to use  this event in Nigeria to empower artists, photographers and all creative entrepreneurs who use photos, to understand their rights, protect their images, prevent their contents from being stolen and generate more income from their creativity.
The event will hold at the African Artists' Foundation Gallery, 3b, Isiola Oyekan Close, off Adeleke Adedoyin Street, off Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.from 10am.
Admission is free. However, registration is mandatory. Register here to attend.
