The Arts-Muse Fair

The second edition of the Cambridge Islamic Art exhibition has opened in Cambridge, UK. Organised by the Cambridge Mosque Trust, the exhibition will run for two months starting from October 15 – December 15, 2017. All proceeds from sales of artworks go to the Cambridge Mosque Project. Yushaa Abdullah Nigerian Calligrapher Yushaa Abdullah is attending the exhibition and has already reported selling his first artwork for the princely sum of 2,000 British Pounds. The sold calligraphic piece entitled “On Dots Between Two Dots” is inspired by some of the beautiful names of God. The artwork is Black & red ink on hand made ahar paper with dimensions of 80 x 35 cm. 'On Dots Between Two Dots' calligraphy by Yushaa Abdullah sold for 2,000 pounds.
